Yellow Chocobo
Yellow Chocobo's are used for normal riding. When you are on a Chocobo, random battles do not occur. Also, when you dismount the Chocobo does not hang around waiting for you.
White Chocobo
These wonderful birds cannot be ridden, but they do something better. They will restore your party's MP. This makes leveling up around Chocobo forests very easy. you just heal everyon with magic, and then hit the White Chocobo.
Black Chocobo
Introducing the Black Chocobo. These wonderful birds can be found only in the Chocobo Village north of Troia. Once you catch one, you can fly it to any forest in the world map. When you dismount, it will stay right where you leave it. When you are ready to go, it will fly right back to it's home.

Hover Craft
The Hover Craft can cross any terrain (accept for mountains, and oceans) and shallow water. Once the crane is placed on the Enterprise, you can move it to other bodies of land.

Passenger Ship
The Passenger Ship sets sail from Fabul, en route to Baron. It's voyage is short lived, when it chances apon the great Leviathan. The party is scattered across the world, and Cecil is lwft on an unknown shore alone.

Enterprise
The Enterprise, Cid's latest airship, becomes yours apon your return to Baron. This airship is faster than the fabled Red Wings and can go anywhere. But it can only land on grassy plains, or hardened magma.

Falcon
The Falcon is discovered, hidden in the Tower of Bab-il. Until Cid places Mythril on the bottom of the airship, you can only go over hardened magma. Once that is done, the Falcon can go anywhere in the underworld too. A drill is placed on the bow of it, when the party needs to return to the surface.

Lunar Whale
The Lunarians came to this world in the Lunar Whale centuries ago. They then taught the people how to build airships, and magical transports such as the Serpent's trentch. It was then placed into the sea, not to be disturbed until needed.
